Project Description

The Older Adult Active Living program provided training to practitioners, leaders, and volunteers who delivered physical activity and active living strategies to older adults living in rural seniors housing. Participants were taught how to maintain and improve seniors' functional abilities, enhance their well-being, and help them be functionally independent. They were also given practical and realistic strategies and program ideas to incorporate into their own local programs.
